Program Overview

Our Photography & Visual Arts program introduces young creatives to the exciting world of visual storytelling through hands-on exploration of photography, digital arts, and media composition. Designed for students of all skill levels, this program welcomes beginners and aspiring photographers between 8-14, with structured lessons that build a strong foundation in both creativity and technical skills.

Students will start with the beginner class, where they will learn essential techniques while experimenting with light, color, and composition. As they progress, they will gain confidence in capturing, editing, and sharing their unique perspectives through photography and digital media.

We offer exploration of Photography & Digital Arts

✔ Introduction to Cameras & Tools – Using digital cameras, phone cameras, and tablets for photography.
✔ Compositional Techniques – Learning how framing, angles, and perspective shape a visual story.
✔ Lighting & Color Theory – Understanding how light, shadow, and color impact mood and storytelling.
✔ Creative Storytelling – Exploring photography as a way to document, express emotions, and connect with an audience.
✔ Photo Editing & Digital Media – Experimenting with apps and software to enhance images and create layered compositions.

Whether using a camera, phone, or tablet, students will explore composition, storytelling, and digital editing while developing critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and artistic confidence.

  • Yes! All students start with a foundational photography class, where they’ll learn essential techniques while exploring light, composition, and storytelling. As they gain confidence, they’ll have the opportunity to advance to more complex projects and techniques tailored to their skill level.

  • Yes, we provide all the necessary materials and equipment, including cameras, tablets, and editing tools, so students can fully engage in the creative process. However, if your child prefers to use their own device, they are welcome to bring it!

  • To ensure a supportive and engaging learning environment, we keep our class sizes small. Each group typically consists of 10-12 students, with the instructor supported by an assistant. This ensures that the instructor-to-student ratio is never more than 1:6, allowing for plenty of personalized instruction and hands-on learning.


  • Each session runs for six weeks, giving students ample time to explore new techniques, experiment with their creativity, and receive one-on-one guidance from our instructors.
